Some more in-depth details of what's there.
KA-BOOOOM!!
Aside from an obvious price change, it'll be interesting to see how they'll fit all these attractions in what seems to be such a small area. Concept artists have a common habit of taking certain liberties with their art. Clearly this isn't a large, remote island in the middle of the ocean, but rather a waterpark that's adjacent to a couple of hotels. To put 18 attractions in such a small area though, complete with cabanas seems frankly a little ambitious, but we'll see how it works out. I'm a fan of waterparks but I'm not a big fan of the drop door effects. I may have to suck it up though, depending on what that other secret attraction is in the volcano.

Noticed the other day, but forgot to post that some UK travel sites have started selling a 14 day "3-Park Explorer Ticket" inc Volcano Bay for £215. "Enjoy fourteen consecutive days of unlimited park to park access to Universal Studios Florida™, Universal’s Islands of Adventure™, the all NEW Universal’s Volcano Bay™ Water Theme Park, and select live entertainment venues of Universal CityWalk™. They could tack that onto the Premiere pass as a weekday perk without problem

from the bovver article
Krakatau Aqua Coaster will be a first-of-its-kind aqua coaster in Florida — and it’ll be a fun adventure for the entire family. You’ll board specially-designed canoes that seat up to four. Then, you’ll be propelled downwards – and upwards – through the volcano’s interior peaks and valleys. You’ll twist, turn and plummet along dark passageways, be launched through sparkling waterfalls and so much more

So it looks like you can't purchase a ticket just for Volcano Bay. You have to buy it as a three park ticket, but you don't have to get park-to-park. I don't understand this logic. Did they think noone would go to the park just to go to a great waterpark? I don't get it. And why three park, instead of two?

Money maker, Candy McIcicles, just like saying you need the park-to-park for the Hogwarts Express. I am hoping that they will sell individual tickets eventually--as a passholder, who wants to pay that much money for tickets to parks you already have and already paid access to? I'm sure somethang else will be introduced later. I do think there are people that would be drawn to it just for the water, same as Wet and Wild did I'm sure.

Will be a park ticket available for one day - one park. No AP tickets announced yet either. It doesn't surprise me that they are not offering a 1 day ticket for VB...in my opinion, it will never happen. Keeping it exclusively to park guests, keep the general public out and eliminates over crowding...also they make more money this way, so it's a win win for them...not for the general public though...which is fine with me because I visit the parks and since we do a water park everytime we visit, this makes it easier for me.
