Disney 1 day water park ticket is $60, I expect Universal to offer there's at the same price point. Would loose too much money not having a single day ticket

I can honestly say I will probably never go. Too busy in the non-water parks

Might actually get the males in my life back to the parks. They don't want to go back next time...just Legoland...but a Volcano and a water park?!?! Just might be cool enough!

I can't picture myself being in a waterpark at night. So I would never see the night time show. Water rides in the dark would be too spooky, me thinks

Wondering if there will be an aph discount when Volcano Bay opens? I would imagine same APH discount will apply for Volcano Bay tickets as Universal and food and merchandise discounts also.

I was disappointed in some of the pricing details ... but not as much as the info about virtual lines at VB. I get that standing in line to ride rides is a pain, but not being able to ride all the slides because of virtual lines just infuriates me and also finding out the only way to be able to do it is to buy a fast pass just takes my frustration to a whole new level. Actually I don't mind standing in line as it takes away from that brutal climb to the slide especially for someone of my age I am hoping that this won't be an issue in Sept. because the crowds will not be as bad and with staying on site we get early park admission. I usually save our water parks to the last day in Orlando, but in light of this info, VB may have to be done more than one day to experience all that it has to offer.

Forgot to mention upgrade price is $99 to add VB to your existing 2-park AP.

Can anyone explain the virtual line system to me? Is it only if you buy express pass?

Can anyone explain the virtual line system to me? Is it only if you buy express pass? No,
The virtual line is for everyone, express pass trumps the virtual line.
You'll be issued a wrist band "TapuTapu" on entering Volcano Bay, each ride entrance will have a totem pole style device. Wave or place your wristband next to this and the band will alert you when it's time to come back and ride.
It will also have hidden features throughout the park if you tap against places.
Express pass means no waiting, go straight up and will be placed in front of the virtual line!

Thanks Dan! That makes sense. I was getting confused. I think we are just going to buy the 1 day ticket since we will only have time for 1 day, and won't take advantage of going back till Sept...hopefully Sept. That would be our renew time.
