The virtual line is for everyone, express pass trumps the virtual line.
You'll be issued a wrist band "TapuTapu" on entering Volcano Bay, each ride entrance will have a totem pole style device. Wave or place your wristband next to this and the band will alert you when it's time to come back and ride.
It will also have hidden features throughout the park if you tap against places.
Express pass means no waiting, go straight up and will be placed in front of the virtual line!
Thanks Dan! That makes sense. I was getting confused. I think we are just going to buy the 1 day ticket since we will only have time for 1 day, and won't take advantage of going back till Sept...hopefully Sept. That would be our renew time. I believe the only ride that is not included with express is the aqua coaster....but keep in mind you may not be able to ride everything using TapuTapu. I am opting to purchase express for Volcano Bay only because I will be visiting only one day and want to experience everything and also I don't find the price of express to be expensive, but it does change depending on what day you choose to go. |

Here's a calendar of pricing for Sept ... It figures the week I arrive they are not offering express, I'm hoping that it gets filled in eventually. We will probably go on Saturday the 30th.  |

I am looking at our date June 7 and it looks like express pass is $19.99 and unlimited express is $39.99. Guess we would just get the regular one. Any discounts for APH? Does't look like it.
