Ugh I saw this! I love that ride and I wouldn't be scared for my safety but being stuck for that long in the heat would really mess with my claustrophobia!

It's another nothing story for the news in my opinion. The press seem to love a good roller coaster breaks story.
Wouldn't put me off riding. Been stuck on other rides in worse positions.

When we got stuck on the mummy it was so awesome getting evacuated. Got to literally walk on the side of the ride and climb through back stage areas. The good thing about it was that we couldn't have been stuck for more than 20 mins. 2 hours is too long!

Rides breaking down is a natural thing. I mean, machines are just like anything else and they run for several hours a day, 7 days a week. Eventually, it's going to need a break. We got stuck on FJ when it first opened and a couple times later on. We haven't needed evacuation but the first time, since it'd just opened, we didn't know how long we'd be there for so we took the gf's phone out of my cargo pockets and turned on Family Guy lol.
