I saw the advert last night and it definitely is an odd one and doesn't tease the ride at all. I'm not sure what the audience takeaway is meant to be from it. The only thing I took away from it, is that the people are doing everything "Fast & Furious". Which maybe could have been the point I guess haha! |

Cathleen I went looking for it the other night as I couldn't get that link to work but here it is: I don't like it, either. Somebody get an ass-whoppin for knocking popcorn over, running and purposely interrupting a photo. That's a bad spot by the Castle and everywhere someone will be taking a picture but most people are decent about it (most). Are they a "Fast" family or just a bunch of rude jerks? There's really nothing to go by there. On a side note, from what I had read about this ride in USH, I'm not expeceting much. Adore and love our beloved Uni but have been disappointed with the last few thangs they've put out (Raptor Encounter, Kong, Fallon). Now this video I love. The woman always forgetting the discount, that's me but the guy slapping down the map gets me everytime.  M & DH say the people saying "I heard. . . " is me.  Oh and the wait times! Definite yes!! Accurate!

Cathleen. That video just seems like a family of self-important, poorly behaved jerks. I'm not familiar with the franchise, but that commercial is not inviting at all. I do love the UOAP one Merry McSparkles Grimes posted - it should say "if you are an OFF member"😀. I loved Kong and Raptor encounter, but I hated Fallon - vomit city

Merry McSparkles Grimes and Candy McIcicles glad I wasn't the only one that felt that way about that commercial. I found it super rude and obnoxious. If I saw such a "fast" family, I'd be furious! The other video I have seen and it is by far one of my favorites! So accurate. Do you know how many times I left left a shop and forgot to use my discount!  I think they should have the team that made the UOAP video make a new one for F & F!

I'm sure they'll have somethang when it gets closer to opening, I thought I'd read it would be around April. ? Half of the commercial or more is not even at the park. Not a good ad. Now these are gems, too. I don't know who that guy is at :26 in the first and :43 in the second but he needs to be in every commercial. Funny as hell!  We rewatch those just for him. |

Accurate! I honestly wouldn't expect anythang more than an elaborated form of F&F's portion of the tram in Hollywood, given the recent record, which is what happened with Kong. I'd consider the video just a teaser and they did release concept work on it but I agree. They should have waited until they could show us some of the actual ride to broadcast a related ad. That UOAP parody video...I'm almost positive the guy who used to be Ted "Theodore" Logan III for HHN is the taller main guy in that video. I haven't been able to hear this with sound yet so I don't know if that's Bill with him. It already makes me pretty nostalgic to see it though. EDIT: And confirmed. Attractions Magazine posted in the comments on Youtube that these are both Bill and Ted and Chance is also in the video as well! Yay! |
