I'm so excited about how many new things will be online when we finally get to go back! Kong looks awesome! I hope he doesn't take a fancy to me...

I hope this is open before the end of the month but I'm going to guess no. We'll see. Uni has released Power Pass holders from the June blackout dates which would normally be in effect either this week or next. DH is talking about taking M down and it'd be a shame to miss it. I hope to go, too, lol.

Any of the walk through and the ride video do not give you the feeling of the ride so no reason to watch them. This is one you have to experience in person. It just does not translate to video.

I never do spoilers of any kind and I am really looking forward to Kong. Just might not enjoy getting scared to death in the queue. I hope getting scared doesn't affect my enjoyment of the ride itself!

I hope getting scared doesn't affect my enjoyment of the ride itself! That's something that a couple of the other place-kind of sites have been saying is a concern. You have to go through the queue for the ride itself or at least to access the child-swap, which is usually right up front. I got a chance to go through it and the scares only happen in 2 actual spots, so while there are Scareactors in the queue, it's not to the extent of HHN. I won't spoil where they're at for you though.

I think between HHN and Kong, I'm going to have to be pretty much crocked the whole time in order to cope with all the scary stuff. I've actually never had an alcoholic beverage in any theme or amusement park, but September is going to be a different story! I'll have to find just the right balance of still being able to walk and remember everything, while being just numb enough to laugh at the scare-ers!

Now that people have actually ridden it; Can someone confirm for me what the restraints are like? Are they leg restraints, or is it just a tram ride with seat belts or something of that nature?

That's OK, I have been trying to find a picture to back my point up. But can't find one of the seats at all now! But I'm sure I saw somewhere that it has no belt or anything. Just like Disaster if I remember correctly.
