Gringott's was a complete mess when it opened, I hope this is better. This is looking really, really good for Universal, best thing they've put out in awhile. Maybe it will spur them to get rid of Fast and Furious earlier (eugh).

Fast and Furious...what a waste...the best part of that ride is not the ride at all, but the queue especially for motorheads like E I think Jimmy Fallon should take a hike too |

Me2Old4This2 Agree. Not keen on the raptor encounter thing, either but that's neither here nor there for us. Shrek needs to go next. I understand that not all Potterheads don't want a nearly-all Potter park (I do--most of us would, lol) but they know it's a cash cow and going to be popular. I dread the line for Hagrid's next month but we're waiting!

I just saw a post from Universal saying there is virtual queuing for this via their app.
Also there was a partial photo online somewhere showing the ride warnings which looked like there were size restrictions for the seats.
Not long to wait now anyway.

I’ve just seen another update. You can’t ride if your waistline is greater than 40”. There will be a test vehicle out front.

Rosie16 One second it's bigger seats and the next its restrictions, do they know what they are doing? lol Or is it just for the bike seat? But you're right, we'll know in a few days.

Beachesnsunsets I think it's going to be awkward just sitting on it--not sure that I am brave enough to attempt it. I have to see someone on it. Upright on that going backwards with the speeds, I'm not that gutsy.  There's nothing around you, sitting upright may not help that situation, lol. Hoping we can all get on it in a few weeks, hopefully Cathleen or ChuckPlagmann will have a review for us first. If the size restriction is accurate, DH may not be able to ride. For Pete's sake, if you are advertising a Hagrid ride with a giant man on it, bigger dudes should be allowed to ride!

The TM preview started yesterday. All the reviews are very positive. The feeling is that it is a fast ride speedwise, but also long enough to be satisfying. The accelerations are not dramatic.
The preshow is at the front of the queue, with the line then continuing to the ride - unlike the preshow very near the ride boarding area.
The preview was distributed in seconds. Only 44 tickets. Most folks didn't even get a chance to try. I got to the submission, but it was gone.
Tom Felton has been in the parks doing some videos.
My plan is to go on Saturday.

Looks exciting. We will be there on 6/23 - since express is not available I am not sure if I will get to ride it this time. Possible I guess if we do early admission and if it is available for that. I haven't checked to see if Islands is listed for Early admission on the days that we are there. I honestly don't know if I will spend hours waiting on line since this is only a 4 day trip. Seriously looking forward to this ride however.
