I have to say, that although very crowded, this hotel kept pace with it all. The luggage stow went swimmingly and upon my return to pick up my pieces, again very timely. They guided me to a business office to print my boarding pass (always like to have paper copy just in case) and the staff were all very pleasant. All-in-all, I would stay here again, for sure. But I would do it during slower crowds at the parks. If there ever is such a time again in this crazy world. The ride queues during the busier times would require me to have express passes as my trips are so short. And with onsite prices the way they are, ain't gonna happen for the foreseeable future - not if my whole family goes - far too expensive to buy passes separately. But I'm hoping for things to calm back down to normal, and praying things get better at the mouse house so folks go back over there:-)

Agree Candy McIcicles, the crowd levels are relentless this year. Just no let up. Glad you did ok with Endless Summer. But even there, the room rates are really strong. I don't expect to stay onsite anytime this year. Offsite at the Doubletree for HHN most likely. As for Disney, they have moved on. The announced they are "driving the daily spend per guest up to maximize share holder value". It is working. One result is that Universal 'fandom' has changed with folks moving to UO after being shunned by Disney. Disney has become the world of the haves and have nots.

I hope once everyone realizes that Uni is not really great for the youngster set, things will calm down a bit.

Spent a night at Surfside. Everything went very smoothly but I think I liked the vibe at Dockside better. Of course my flight was at 6:00 am so I only spent a few hours at Surfside so I really shouldn't compare. But all was well.
