Universal's Endless Summer Resort - Surfside Inn and Suites is now on sale! Priced 2019 HHN, around $79/night for 12 nights. Might have to try it out next year!

Do you have to stay the 12 nights to get that price...sort of like the longer you stay the more you save kind of deal

The prices are inviting though I remember when Cabana Bay first opened and they had good deals like these. It got me hook on staying onsite. I adore CBBR but as everything, it's getting more expensive to stay there. I suspect the same will happen with these hotels as well.

I like the look of the rooms. Extended stays are not somethang we do so we'd have to see. Me2Old4This2 DH just found CBBR on his work discount site and it was still nearly $200 a night. It's gotten way out of hand.

Just got a Close-Up email this morning, art for the hotel looks great, very comfy & relaxed vibe. Link & photos Looks massive. Surfside Inn & Suites, love the sandy-looking floor. Very Zen with large "rocks" for seating. Dockside Inn & Suites

Apparently, in this suite, there is a small closet in the bedroom with 1 bed

Honestly, I don't see the savings....
For my family to stay in this suite will cost us just as much as a suite at CBBR and I much rather stay there.

Currently staying at Dockside Inn. Spent one night so far - standard, two queen. They gave me a pool view which is nice. I had a great night sleep - room was very quiet but could just have been lucky as it is not as sound proofed as Hard Rock. Bed is comfortable - pillows not so much. Shower is lovely and big, with controls on wall opposite shower head which is really great. No shelf/seat in stall and it is shower only - a ledge would come in handy. Also, no grab bar at all so it could be a slip risk.
Haven't done any eating or shopping here so can't comment on that, but I've heard that the food is good. The bus service seems very timely and plentiful. So far, so good. I simply would not pay the exorbitant rates they are charging for the upper rooms. Was booked at Rosen - this cost about 30 more per night but gave me reliable transport and I have always found customer service to be great in on-site hotels.

Thought I would also mention that the standard room does have a small closet area (behind a sheer curtain) and a mini- fridge - missed it first day as it's inside furniture. No room service at this hotel but they do have pizza delivery.
