It appears Universal are going to make an announcement, regarding 2017 Celebration of Harry Potter.
Announcement expected August 18th.

Candy McIcicles, Shonnell and I went this year. We didn't buy the package as they were extortionate. Saying that we got to do everything we wanted to, using our AP.
Sorting Hat, Exhibition, Q&A, Shows everything is open to general admission apart from the Friday night welcome party.
We highly enjoyed it, great seeing the Potter stuff and so many like minded Potter fans, would I pay to do package... NO! Front of line, and reserved seating, free breakfast and a butterbeer isn't worth $1000 to me. |

TBH. I kinda felt the same way about the other place Diagon meet-up. Not as expensive, certainly, but not really different than going during slow crowds as far as I could see. Why pay that much additional money for a pre-set meal that you may not like and free butterbeer? Maybe if you can drink a lot of it, it was worth it? That would be a lot of butterbeer and icecream! But I was 't there so I don't know if it was worth it or lots of fun.

Two weeks until the event and still very little official information. Warwick Davis and Matthew Lewis are the only special guests - Special Guests
Ticket packages are also still available, previous years they have sold out. If I was one of the ones paying $**** to meet film talent, I would be getting very anxious.
Hopefully Universal have something big in the pipeline to announce before the event, Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson would be a nice additions. |

I really cannot believe they haven't released the other talent yet. Very unfair to package holders, even if the talent is great. You want something to look forward to. Also surprised that packages are still available. The universal website says to check back in the coming weeks to find out who will be there besides Neville and Warwick Davis. Well, they don't even have two weeks left! Hmm. Could go either way - some unbelievable cast members or nobody really popular. Maybe nobody else at all? I guess we'll see.
