I might have 2 cents to put here. What time is your BoG ressie? I had to move my trip back a week, so it's 8:45 on the 25th.

If that is before rope drop (9:00 on the 25th?) then you get in before the crowd. Head to the left as you exit the bag check and flash your ressie and that lets you walk up mainstreet and through the castle before the thundering hordes are let in. Get the picture you want as you go. If you can get there early you can get in even earlier and spend some time making your way to BoG. You should have a great start to the day. Glad you have some time now to catch up on the planning. I know this has been a stressful time and you have made it through so you are on the downhill side. See you for HHN!

Neecie also speak to Melly, she was able to set up some FP+ for Amber (possibly as she is solo, so unsure if can benefit you but worth asking) 25th August? Shonnell and I have quite taken to Magic Kingdom after not visiting for 18+ years we'll have been 3 times in 12 months soon. You'll both love Be Our Guest, I much preferred the west wing, but sitting in front of the hall windows with the snow was also nice.

Tempted to skip that reservation and go stand at 7DMT, but I'm sure that's not allowed. Oh well.

I've got mine set up, I keep checking for 7DMT but looks like we'll just have to go stand in line after breakfast.

Ok, another question! Melly has given me advice on parades, now I need help on fireworks! We're visiting all 4 parks, so what should be see? I know they do nighttime projection things and fireworks... but what ones are great and what ones can we miss? HELP!?

MNSSHP was a real bust even though they did the fireworks. I saw some of them on my way back from UOR Thursday night and almost ran off the freeway

Okay, one more. Places to eat? We have the quick service meal plan but I think the only place I've eaten in any of the parks is the one place by the Tomorrowland Speedway. They just have burgers and chicken tenders... things like that. I'd like a little more variety than that. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Other than Be Our Guest, we've always eaten out of the parks. Possibly DHPLover can assist with dining advice. I'm sure can use the snack credit anywhere. I highly recommend having a scan on DISboards.com if can put up with a little Universal hating. They will have many articles regarding the food. I'll have a scan and link you up.

Have you seen anything about the Skipper's Canteen in Adventureland? I see mixed reviews but it is not the usual park food. In DHS the Dine in cafe is consistently mentioned as fun. EPCoT has the regional offerings around the lagoon, English, French, Japanese, etc. Animal kingdom has Tusker House and Tiffins but bring a bunch of money for those. All of these will be more than the counter service, don't know how much you want to spend on in park eating, I usually make do with QS and then hit restaurant's outside the parks. Disney Springs has a bunch from signature pizza to high end steak. I like The Earl of Sandwich over there or Raglan road. For the sit downs you will need to get a reservation setup
