I love waterparks!
I don't see me going near Volcano Bay until the hype has died down. Aquatica was bad enough let alone Universal's offering! I'll be over at Typhoon Lagoon / Blizzard Beach using my Disney pass.
This year I think I shall enjoy VB from afar. (Awaits being first one in the water come Sept)

I'm surprised to hear that during HHN Volcano Bay will close earlier. From what I've seen, everyone is sweating to death at that time of year in the parks. It would be a great time to go to Volcano Bay if you're not into HHN. I guess they are assuming it would not pay to keep it open during the event.
