A colleague is staying here in August, it for me was the hotel I knew least about. Maybe because it's the most expensive, it's least talked about.
Having looked into it more from interest and finding information for him. It seems impressive.
Club level is intriguing, especially when it came in cheaper than standard.

I think most of you know this is our favorite onsite hotel . I guess it's because we truly are rockers. Lol! It was the first onsite we ever stayed at, in 2011, for our anniversary. We've stayed several times since, sometimes for just one night in the middle of a week at a condo. Love the atmosphere and it has a certain pleasant smell when you walk in the lobby. It is expensive, and lately I've been having a hard time getting the APH rates to display. We will stay there as often as our budget will allow!

We've stayed at the Hard Rock every time we've been to Uni. Mainly because we have such short stays and you can't beat the short, lovely walk to the parks. Always great service and we are a family of musicians, so ya know, we love this hotel for all the obvious reasons:-)

Also my hotel of choice. Usually stay club level which for us is a good value. I have only stayed at HRH and Portofino and definitely prefer HRH.

Positive review abound - staying here for the first time in Sept when we've only been at the RPR, so this is super exciting. Not doing club level because we're just at the parks too much to get our money's worth, but got a deal even cheaper than the RPR so we couldn't ignore it. Can't wait!

Where did you find the cheaper rates? (Website, travel agent)? Just curious. We will probably have one night at HRH in September. Need to get busy booking it.

In the 3 previous times I've been to Orlando, I've never booked with a travel agent. However, I've always checked into it just in case. In this case, yesterday I had a travel agent from Tripcentral.ca provide me with that great price. With y'all being American I don't know how it works, but just saying - I had an excellent experience with Amanda from that site yesterday (ironically enough, I did a "live chat" only to find out that she works in the Tripcentral depot in my very own building!

André I just want to chime in about the HRH. I have never stayed or even visited until a couple of weeks ago I decided to do The Kitchen for breakfast. It is beautiful and even at that early hour in the morning there was an energy to be felt when you enter the hotel. Not like the laid back vibe I have at RPR but it was there. I am sure you will love it.

For those of you who have stayed there before, we stayed at HRH in November on our last minute trip and had a great time. Loved the pool and the Kitchen...totally agree with your assessment JoeCamel...The atmosphere is amazing! For the experts out there...Anything I should request or checkout this time around when I have time to plan? We have a garden view room.

It's a shame that we can never stay long enough to really devour the Hard Rock Hotel. We take in what we can, but have only been to the pool once. We've eaten in the Kitchen a few times (always good), but we just love that walk to the parks!

We are only 2 nights at HRH, but with our first day at Volcano Bay, Sapphire Falls prices were more appealing. So a split stay for us. I love the walk and the pool.

So Hard Rock Hotel has done away with the photo kiosk express passes as of 2 days ago. They are now having guests just use their room key as their express passes.
While we were there they were having a lot of issues scanning the passes so I don't know if that had anything to do with the change. The concierge said they wanted to make it more convenient so that you didn't have an extra item to carry.
I don't know if this is all the hotels doing this or just Hard Rock.

I think this is how it used to be when we first started going. Too bad, we always liked to photobomb when taking the express photos.
